How to get ready to move to Doha: fill up on family time.

So... I haven't been blogging because nothing much related to our move to Doha has happened. Our stuff got shipped two days ago. That's about it. I really do intend to blog more once we get there. But for those of you who haven't read them yet, here are my wife's more detailed posts from the last month or two: http://ashortstay.blogspot.com/
And here are some pictures you might enjoy. Captions come above the photos they describe.

Big E and Miss A met their cousin from Hawaii at Nana and Grandpa's house in Oklahoma.

Big E showed me where we're moving on a giant globe at a kids' science museum in Tulsa.

Miss A played with her aunt.
Big E went camping with me and grandpa.

He also helped grandpa in the pool a lot.

What's pool time without some snacks?
Miss A is approaching the known limit for possible cuteness in an infant human female.

 We went to Utah next.
Miss A met her great-grandparents

Big E went to a cool library.
 Miss A smiled a lot...
 ... met a cat...
...and took lots of cat naps.
The kids really enjoyed getting to know Grandma and Grandpa better by playing...
 ... making crafts...
...hiking and camping...
... and just generally getting worn out.

One of my good friends from high school joined us for our family reunion.

Big E showed everybody where we're moving on a map at BYU's Islamic Art exhibit.
Fun times at the playground across the street.
Fun times in a cardboard box (kids are easy to please).
And fun times being fed by cousins.

There are loads more pictures for those who care to see them. Email me and I'll send you a direct link to our albums from the last two months.
We leave for Doha on Wednesday!
